Head Coach

 

Allison Post was named the DYU women's volleyball head coach in April 2025.

Post comes to D’Youville after spending on season at the University of Rochester as an assistant coach. At the U of R, Post helped coach one All-University Athletics Association honoree, one AVCA All-Region 3 Honorable Mention, and four CSC Academic All-District selections.

Prior to her arrival at the U of R, Post spent seven seasons at nearby Daemen University, five as player and two as a graduate assistant coach. In her two seasons as a coach, Post helped guide the Wildcats to two ECC Championships and NCAA Division II Tournament appearances. She saw 12 players earn All-ECC honors as well as a pair being named All-American. As a player, Post saw action in 86 matches where she had 565 kills, 432 digs, 52 blocks, and 48 aces. Post had her best season as a player during her junior year, leading the team with 241 kills and helped Daemen to an ECC Championship and an appearance into the Elite Eight, a first in the program’s history.

A native of Windsor, Calif., Post earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in sports management from Daemen in the spring of 2021 and her master’s degree in leadership and innovation in the spring of 2024.
